Professor Seyed Mohammad Marandi has become for many a primary voice for matters relating to Iran and West Asia. Seyed is Iranian, lives in Iran and works in the University of Tehran. He is highly informed about geopolitical matters and is a popular guest on livestream video interviews and TV broadcasts. He does this entirely in a private capacity.

He was born in the US and went to Iran when he was a teenager. His parents are Iranian. This has given him a valuable understanding of Western thinking and perspectives and of geopolitical matters particularly relating to Iran and West Asia.
