RT is a bastion of alternative journalism that has provided exceptional resources in multiple languages for seventeen years. Their contribution to the availability of news is of immense significance. They are extremely valuable. They provide a gauge against which other broadcasters can be measured.

For the governments of the UK and EU to wilfully obstruct people from obtaining RT's services is a clear indication of the those governments' intentions. They presumed to block the information RT was providing.

Those governments did not like the truth being given to people. They want unquestioning, uninformed, compliant citizens who do not know what is happening.

In February 2022 the EU decided to deprive its citizens of RT's resources on tv and for transmission reasons that also deprived people in Britain from those services. On 12 May 2022 the rt.com website and all associated resources were blocked from people living in the UK. Those who did that took something away that was not theirs to take.

This is an act of significant harm, perpetrated by a criminal and malfeasant government to the detriment of the people it purports to serve.

This requires further examination and understanding. It shows that government has the ability to block a large and important international resource from the internet in the UK, that they were motivated to block it and that they took the actions to do that harm.

It shows an ability to block websites from the internet. It shows contempt and disregard for the public's interests, options and choice and a willingness to oppress and subjugate their citizens to government propaganda and that of the msm and reduce citizens' access to alternative media, media in relation to RT that was easily accessible to the general public, was well presented and had significant content with journalists on the ground showing events, not simply news readers following a script.

By obstructing the public's access to RT's news and associated resources those involved are intentionally limiting the public's knowledge, understanding and confining them to the approved narratives that are intended to condition, control, manipulate and coerce.

This shows that the EU and UK governments are willing to intentionally obstruct citizens from being informed and prefer them instead to believe whatever narratives they issue however absurd, false and or harmful.

They have done this in the context of the war the US and its NATO vassals are perpetrating against Russia.

Other sites have been taken down but none with the standing of RT. There are no English language replacements to RT.com.
