Washington is provoking war with Russia in line with its own hegemonic policies. It is using Ukraine as a proxy. It overthrew the elected government in Ukraine in 2014 with the riots in the Maidan and is intentionally prolonging the special intervention by supplying Ukraine with military equipment.

This is consistent with the duplicitous and manipulative behaviour that exemplifies Washington's conduct around the world.

Since assuring Russia in 1991 that it would not extend its influence one inch east it has done exactly that and systematically moved east, expanding NATO and installing missiles pointing at Russia in nations that had been part of the Soviet Union.

Its actions are callous, self serving and malign. The Five Eyes, the EU and NATO are vassals of the US and do as they are told.

Since 2014 Washington and its vassals have done nothing to prevent the genocide of 14,000 people in Donetsk and Luhansk by the Ukrainian military.

The Empire of Lies has shown its intentions by instigating NATO expansion, having 100,000 US troops in Europe, sending hundreds of tons of weapons to Ukraine and telling Zelensky not to accept the Russian requirements that were given before the special intervention.

The resulting response from Russia has been measured, reluctant and only conducted after repeated requests for guarantees of security that were derisively ignored. Russia has done exactly what it said it would do and is decisively conducting the special intervention.
